“Hidden Stare” is a 24×48″ original work of art done in mixed media on canvas.

When completed, this piece was a milestone in terms of the direction of my future work. The usage of line, color, contrast, minimalism. With little to no other details, almost solely using shape and color to give the impression.

Though my art is not traditional impressionism, I still consider it a form of impressionism. It’s a very highly stylized and more modern Impressionism. This is the painting which solidified this direction for me. “Hidden Stare” is arguably one of my most important pieces for this reason.
