“Lake Shore Drive” is an original 11×14″ watercolor and gouache cityscape from 2011. For this piece I departed my typical style for a more classical watercolor look on downtown Chicago from Lake Michigan. I spent several years on Michigan Avenue training as a professional artist. My art school was located in the far left of the painting. This piece was inspired out of nostalgia.
